Using GIS Maps in iBwave Design significantly improves indoor/outdoor campus network design by allowing users to execute detailed analysis directly within the platform.

Users can run the following heatmaps to analyze the indoor/outdoor network performance:

• Received Signal Reference Power (RSRP): This map displays signal strength across areas, crucial for assessing coverage quality.
• Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio (SINR): An essential tool for evaluating signal quality, this map helps detect areas with interference and noise.
• Dominance Over Macro: Visualizing how new networks overlap with existing macro networks, this map aids in strategic small cell or access point placement.
• Best Server: Displays the best serving cell per pixel, helping ensure proper sector coverage and mitigate coverage, capacity, and interference issues.
