iBwave Unveils iBwave Design Lite
New version promises same benefits as the Enterprise software with an entry-level price point
Montreal, CANADA – April 16, 2013 – iBwave, the standard for in-building software and training, is thrilled to announce the launch of iBwave Design Lite, the company’s new entry-level indoor design and planning tool. The software offers the same benefits as iBwave’s flagship product, iBwave Design Enterprise – neatly packaged in a lighter version and with an affordable price point.
“We recognize that not all companies in our rapidly growing industry require the complex functions and sophistication of iBwave Design Enterprise,” says Mario Bouchard, President and CEO of iBwave. “We developed iBwave Design Lite for less intricate project deployments in order to eliminate the tedious manual work with Visio, Excel and AutoCAD that many are still doing today.”
iBwave Design Lite gives users the ability to place components on floor plans, generate schematic diagrams, automate RF calculations, create bill of materials and more. Users can create their design using the same extensive list of wireless technologies as in iBwave Design Enterprise, such as 4G
LTE, 3G, Tetra, Wi-Fi, RFID, MMTS, Zigbee. It also gives users access to iBwave’s database of over 10,000 accurately-modeled components from over 230 manufacturers.
Furthermore, iBwave Design Lite comes with an optional add-on lite Propagation module for increased modeling capabilities. It enables users to create walls and horizontal surfaces, assign material to them from an extensive database and verify their network’s coverage prediction through signal power maps. iBwave Design Lite allows users to be a part of the worldwide industry recognized iBwave community and to benefit from iBwave’s superior customer support.
