iBwave Makes it Simple to Survey Private Networks by Uniting Wi-Fi & Cellular with the Launch of their Newest App
iBwave Mobile Survey bridges the gap between Wi-Fi and Cellular to offer a single survey solution for private networks.
MONTREAL, QC, October 22, 2020 - Today iBwave announces the launch of a new survey app that introduces a simple way to survey both Wi-Fi and Cellular networks at the same time using just the app and an Android device. Specifically developed to address the emerging Private Networks space, iBwave Mobile Survey complements iBwave’s more powerful desktop software iBwave Design, providing a single integrated solution to survey, design, and maintain Private Networks like CBRS.

The new survey app is cloud-connected and requires just an Android device to work. Both Wi-Fi and Cellular (2G, 3G, LTE) networks can be surveyed at the same time, and the app also includes functionality to quickly document the site with images and notes saved via pushpins on the floorplan. Once the data collection is done, customers can visualize the survey data using the interpolation heatmap, which shows the complete picture of the existing coverage. iBwave Cloud can be used seamlessly to open and view in iBwave desktop software.
