iBwave Announces Rogers Wireless as an iBwave Design Customer
The top three Canadian national operators now use iBwave Design for in-building designs
Montreal, Canada May 18, 2005 – iBwave is pleased to announce Rogers Wireless, Canada's largest wireless operator, as a new iBwave Design customer. In-building engineers at Rogers will use iBwave Design to create wireless in-building network designs. This announcement highlights the fact that the top three Canadian wireless operators, including Bell Mobility and TELUS Mobility, now use iBwave Design for in-building designs.
iBwave President, Mike Cegelski, notes "Although they remain independent, wireless carriers in Canada are ahead of many countries due to their willingness to work together, often collaborating on multi-carrier designs and mandates such as airports, campuses, government buildings and high rise towers. iBwave Design removes previous barriers and facilitates inter-carrier sharing of infrastructure projects for faster design approvals and roll-outs."
The ability to share designs across the entire value chain brings a new level of shared infrastructure design to the in-building market. A range of in-building companies such as equipment suppliers and system integrators and installers can now work closely with national Canadian operators who also use iBwave Design to create and share designs.
In Canada, iBwave Design has quickly become the industry's standard for wireless in-building network designs. iBwave is currently penetrating other countries by demonstrating the Canadian market's successful use of iBwave Design.
