iBwave Goes Social

A LinkedIn User Group, a Technical Forum and an idea Generation tool to Connect and Share with the In-Building Wireless Community

Montreal, Canada – March 4, 2010 iBwave, the leading in-building wireless solutions provider, announces today that it has launched a social network to create a trusted in-building wireless community of clients, professionals and experts who share the same technical and business interests. iBwave has launched a user group on LinkedIn and has also introduced a brand new forum and an idea generation module to its website to encourage clients and industry professionals to share and discuss their in-building wireless experience in one central place.

“We are very excited about this project of introducing iBwave into social media. We have been asked by our market to engage in the online sphere and gather the community to collectively discuss and tackle the upcoming industry opportunities and hurdles,” says Mario Bouchard, President and CEO of iBwave Solutions. “Our goal by going social is to learn from experts within our industry how we can bring more value to services we offer to mobile operators, who are increasingly challenged by their end-users for more reliable indoor networks that support faster data applications.”

“At iBwave, our commitment to our clients and to the industry is to always develop new products that will sustain the ever changing technology requirements in the wireless mobile world,” says Mario Bouchard, President and CEO of iBwave.

iBwave’s user group on LinkedIn engages the in-building wireless community and aims to bring telecom experts and professionals together to share and learn about the evolution and trends of the in-building wireless market. The purpose of the group is to foster debates on profitable indoor networks and explore new wireless technologies of such as LTE, 4G and WiMAX and their implications on the industry.

In addition to the LinkedIn user group, iBwave has also developed two new tools that will be added to its customer portal on its website. The technical forum allows anyone to get instant access to support from iBwave experts to find answers to their technical issues. It will also help users to read honest, unbiased information from other users’ experiences with the same issue, which will ensure fast autonomy and proficiency on the software.

An idea generation tool is also available to let users post, promote and demote their own ideas as well as others on how iBwave’s software solutions and involvement should be improved. Ideas selected by the market in the idea generation tool will feed iBwave’s product portfolio roadmap and evolution.

iBwave plans on expanding its expertise in in-building wireless and has plans to explore more social media means in the near future.
