MONTREAL, CANADA, JUN 16, 2015 – ELTEL, a leading European provider of technical services for critical infrastructure networks, is in the midst of providing 3G and 4G connectivity to 88 AstraZeneca biopharmaceutical offices and laboratories throughout Sweden. To facilitate this massive project, ELTEL is using iBwave’s industry standard flagship product, iBwave Design as well as the popular iBwave Certification Program.
ELTEL confirms that deployments of this scope can present a project management challenge due to the dispersed locations of various stakeholders. “Having all files in the .ibw format was really beneficial for file sharing and documentation and for getting the project from the planners to the installers” says Lars Jessen, Business Development Manager at ELTEL. “We needed a tool that could optimize the process of data collection, component selection, cost evaluation, design, and validation and reporting to ultimately save us time on this large-scale project. iBwave met all of these requirements.” The 88 buildings span across three separate locations and consist of laboratories and business offices, including AstraZeneca’s Nordic Headquarters.

ELTEL also took advantage of iBwave’s Certification program to ensure that its indoor RF engineers are equipped with the knowledge to produce top tier designs while fully benefiting from the time savings that iBwave Design can facilitate. Eight ELTEL engineers are now iBwave level 1 and level 2 certified.
The project was successfully completed in April 2015 and with the help of iBwave’s intuitive technology the ELTEL team saved approximately 800-1000 hours of extra work.
