LONDON, U.K, February 12th, 2015 — NET Coverage Solutions, a leading in-building design and installation consultant in the UK, relied on iBwave's proven wireless technologies to deploy a high-performance, multi-carrier, 3G voice and data solution in the new residential district of East Village London.
Previously designed and constructed as the Olympic Village for the 2012 Summer Games, East Village boasts 1500 luxury apartments spread over 33 buildings and 330 floors, and features world-class amenities and facilities, including a large shopping centre, a 2,000-place school, a health centre and UK’s biggest adventure playground, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
NET, which has designed and installed over 2,000 cellular coverage solutions ranging from small operator shop to large multiple-operator, multiple-sector projects, selected iBwave’s flagship software, iBwave Design, to deliver strong and reliable cellular connectivity, anytime, anywhere, throughout the upscale apartment complex.
“Our team has designed and installed what is believed to be the largest multiple operator, multiple sector, single DAS solution in Europe”, explains Dan Mayer, NET’s Business Development Manager. “By leveraging the iBwave software, we not only completed a unique design encompassing no less than 704 antennas within 33 buildings, but we also delivered it within record budget and timescales – within a third of the time when compared with conventional methods!
