This Cookie Policy, in addition to iBwave Solutions Inc.’s internet privacy notice, explains the personal data that iBwave Solutions Inc. (in the following “iBwave”) collects while you browse our website (www.ibwave.com). iBwave explains our use of Cookies and similar technologies and provides links that allow you to customize your experience via the Cookie Settings area accessible from this page.  We set default behavior for cookies depending on the geographic location you access our site from. You have the ability to modify those default settings with the exception of strictly necessary cookies which are required to maintain essential site functionality. Cookies and Similar Technologies: 

When you visit our website, we collect certain information by automated means, using technologies such as cookies, pixel tags, browser analysis tools, server logs and web beacons.

Information that iBwave collects and how we use it:

We collect different types of information from cookies and other technologies. For example, we may collect information about the device you use to access our website, your operating system type, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone where your device is located, as well as the personal information described in our Internet Privacy Notice. Our server logs might also record the IP address or derivative of the device you used to connect to the Internet. An IP address is a unique identifier that devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the internet. We may also collect information about the website you were visiting before you came to iBwave and the website you visit after you leave our site.

We partner with third parties to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third-party partners may use cookies or similar technologies in order to provide you with advertising based on your browsing activities and interests. You may opt-out of this advertising; in which case non-personalized ads may continue to be displayed on those sites.


Cross-Device Use

We and our third party service providers, including Google, may use the information that we collect about you (whether directly from our website, from our mobile applications, through your device(s), or from a third party) to help us and our third party service providers identify other devices that you use (e.g., a mobile phone, tablet, other computer, etc.). We, and our third party service providers also may use the cross-device use and other information we learn about you to serve targeted advertising on your devices and to send you emails. Please note:  if you opt-out of these targeted advertising cookies, your opt-out will be specific to the web browser, application, or device from which you accessed the opt-out. Geolocation

We use geolocation services to determine your location based on your IP address and set default cookie functionality.  Depending on how you access our site, these services may mistakenly identify your location and therefore set default cookie behavior to something other than your normal point of access.  You can access our Cookie Settings page to review and change those selections as often as you would like by selecting the Cookie Settings button on this page.

In many cases, the information we collect using cookies and other tools is only used in a non-identifiable way, without reference to any personal information. For example, we use information we collect about website users to understand website traffic patterns and to optimize our websites.


Do-Not-Track

If your browser supports a ‘Do-Not-Track’ capability and it is turned on, all non-essential cookies will be disabled until you explicitly enable them via our Cookies Settings page.


Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track general visitor data and to analyze how effective our Google Ads are on Google search result pages. The data is therefore used for statistical analysis of visitor and click behavior on the website. We also optimize the operation of the website with this information. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so.

We have a Data Protection Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses in place with Google. The statistical data is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in Europe and the United States. Profiling and remarketing

Based on behavior on the website, profiles are created with remarketing lists, in order to be able to show relevant advertisements to visitors on other sites based on previously displayed behavior on the website, which is stored in targeting cookies. With this we hope to inform you even better about our services. This data cannot be traced back to a specific person.  For this we have enabled Google Analytics Advertising Features.  By enabling the Advertising Features, we enable Google Analytics to collect data about our traffic via Google advertising cookies and identifiers, in addition to data collected through the standard Google Analytics implementation. With this we collect data for building audiences so that we can show relevant advertisements. This aggregated data is shared with Google, so that these advertisements can be shown in the Google network.  You can opt-out from the Google Analytics Advertising Features by clicking the button Cookie Settings and set the consent for targeting cookies to ‘off’ or change the ad personalization feature in your Google account.

iBwave uses leading, commercially-available systems to operate and manage our website.  iBwave has strict vendor selection and performance criteria to ensure compliance of these systems with our Internet Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy.


Third-party cookies

In addition to our own cookies, we may also use various third-party cookies to report usage statistics of the Service, deliver advertisements on and through the Service, and other similar activities.

Rights of California Residents

If you are a verified California resident, you may have, pursuant to the CCPA, the following rights with respect to your personal information with iBwave, which apply differently in different circumstances: right to access, right to information, and the right to deletion. iBwave does not and will not sell personal information. Most of these rights are not absolute.  Below we describe these rights in more detail and provide information on how you can exercise them.  If you are a verified California consumer and make a request to exercise your rights, we will respond within 45 days, but we have the right to extend this period by 45 additional days where necessary.  If we extend the response period, we will let you know within 45 days from your request. You can exercise your rights by contacting us at [email protected]. Be sure to include your name and clear instructions regarding any change to your personal data or request to delete your information from our database, and iBwave will respond to your message. In case we are unable to complete your request, we will provide you with relevant explanations in due time. Right to Access:

  • You have a right to ask iBwave to provide the categories and specific pieces of personal information that we retain about you through your account with us or, at your option, by mail or in a readily usable electronic format.  iBwave is obligated to respond to no more than two Right-to-Access requests in a 12-month period.  The Right to Access does not apply to information collected by iBwave for a single transaction.

Right to Information.  You have the right to ask iBwave to disclose to you:

  • the categories of personal information that iBwave has collected about you in the 12 months preceding the request and the specific pieces of that personal information
  • the categories of sources from which the personal information was collected
  • the business purpose or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the personal information
  • the categories of third parties with whom or which the personal information is shared
  • the categories of personal information that iBwave has sold about you and the categories of parties to whom or which iBwave sold each category of personal information
  • the categories of personal information that iBwave has disclosed about you for a business purpose.

Right to Deletion.  You have the right to ask iBwave to delete personal information it has collected about you.  The Right to Deletion does not apply when iBwave needs the personal information:

  • to complete a transaction with you, provide a good or service requested by you, or otherwise perform a contract with you
  • to detect or prevent security incidents or illegal activity
  • to identify and correct errors that impair existing functionality
  • for the exercise of a legal right or to ensure another person can exercise his or her legal right
  • to comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act
  • to engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest if deletion of the personal information is likely to make the research impossible or seriously impair it
  • solely for internal uses that are reasonably aligned with expectations based on your relationship with iBwave
  • to comply with a legal obligation; or for lawful internal

Please note that withdrawing your consent (opt-out) does not affect the lawfulness of processing your personal data based on consent before its withdrawal.
