iBwave Design Enterprise Network Planning

Master your usage of iBwave Design Enterprise to better manage your in-building network design projects. Understand in-building wireless network projects, site surveys, and the fundamentals of testing.

Create picture plans, design plans and floor plans, working with advanced AutoCAD and floor plan features to characterize walls and surfaces, and generate reports.

You must complete a final exam in order to obtain the certification.

Virtual Classroom Sessions: The final 3-hour certification exam can be completed online within the week following the session through the Learning Center.

Access to e-Manual: Students will have online access to the e-Manual for 1 year.

Level 1 Prerequisites: Familiarity with iBwave Design Enterprise and DAS deployment

Level 2
Active DAS | Propagation | Collection | Optimization

Download Syllabus Level 2

Work with iBwave Design Enterprise’s advanced modules: Collection, Propagation and Optimization. Learn the fundamentals of in-building propagation models and make propagation predictions using the iBwave Design Enterprise Propagation Module.

Design Passive DAS as well as Active DAS with power sharing among multiple operators and perform in-building radio testing using the Collection Module. Learn how to leverage information about outdoor coverage to plan indoor coverage with the Optimization Module.

You must complete a final exam in order to obtain the certification.

Essentials to design and validate campus projects

The iBwave Reach Certification program is intended for engineers involved in the planning, designing and validating of high performance LTE/5G campus networks. Learners will work with iBwave Reach as well as iBwave Design to integrate outdoor and indoor design information for campus projects.

Throughout the course, you will be required to perform hands-on workshops. You must complete a final exam in order to obtain the Reach certification.

Virtual Classroom Sessions: The final 3-hour certification exam can be completed online within the week following the session through the Learning Center.

Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1 and Level 2 or equivalent skill set is recommended.

iBwave Wi-Fi Mobile
Essentials to design and validate Wi-Fi projects

The iBwave Wi-Fi Mobile online course is intended for technicians and installers in the surveying, planning, designing and validating of high-performance Wi-Fi networks. Learners will explore the iBwave Wi-Fi Mobile application and gain valuable knowledge on how to build Wi-Fi networks through the associated procedures, demonstrations, simulations and knowledge checks followed by a final exam.

This online course will cover the floor plan Basics, Survey and Design tools to allow field technicians to design and run accurate predictions on site:

  • Basics provide the floor plan environment setup.
  • Survey provides the survey data collection and interpolation.
  • Design provides both manual and automated component and network design to run prediction calculations and estimates.

Course duration: 6 hours self-paced followed by a 90-minute exam.

Survey and Grid Testing for Public Safety Networks

The integration of iBwave Mobile Survey with the Epiq PRiSM Scanner provides you with a simple and seamless way to test, validate, and document public safety networks. In about one day of training, you can earn your certification in surveying and grid testing of public safety networks using iBwave’s Mobile Survey for Public Safety package.

If you are a technician or engineer who performs site surveys and grid testing in Public Safety networks, this course is intended for you. You will explore the iBwave Mobile Survey application integrated with the Epic PRiSM Scanner and gain valuable knowledge on how to validate and document public safety networks through associated procedures, demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and a final certification exam.

his course will cover the floor plan Basics, Survey and Grid Test tools as well the reports available in the application:

  • Basics tools: integrate outdoor and floor plans and document the environment.
  • Survey tools: collect survey traces and show the interpolated coverage on plans.
  • Grid Test tools: configure the grid and critical areas on floor plans to perform the grid tests for each floor.
  • PDF Reports tool: run a project summary report and a grid testing report directly from your mobile device.
